Amanda Pullano
Product Designer
Designing intuitive systems for complex products.
I’m a product designer with over 4 years of experience building and scaling SaaS products in a startup environment. At Toke, I helped shape a retail platform used by dispensaries across the country, designing core systems including POS workflows, e-commerce, delivery logistics, personalization tools, inventory management, and customer analytics tools.
My approach to design goes beyond visuals. I focus on strategic product thinking, balancing human-centered design with long-term product goals, business needs, and stakeholder priorities.
Some of the work I’m most proud of includes:
-
Contributing to the POS redesign
-
Designing key workflows across POS, e-commerce, and operational systems
-
Supporting increased adoption of the platform’s e-commerce offering
-
Translating complex operational processes into intuitive product experiences
-
Contributing to a scalable and evolving product ecosystem

Toke Overview
Over my 4+ years at Toke, I helped design and evolve a fully integrated retail platform for the cannabis industry. Our team tackled large-scale projects including a complete POS redesign, a ground-up E-Commerce build, the development of a driver delivery portal, inventory & order management systems, & so much more.
I collaborated closely with developers, a senior UX designer, our Product Manager, the CEO, and even the sales team to create scalable, intuitive systems that balanced user needs with business goals. Using strategic UX design, we linked our e-commerce platform directly to the POS for a seamless end-to-end experience—covering everything from order management and checkout to customer profiles, analytics, and inventory.
Following our 2.0 rollout, we saw a notable increase in onboarded customers opting into our new e-commerce platform, and a significant rise in successful order completions after the improved order management flow was introduced.
Toke was a defining project in my UX career, shaping me into a more strategic, systems-oriented designer capable of turning complex workflows into cohesive experiences.

Ottava Overview
Ottava was the first project that sparked my genuine passion for designing meaningful, human-centered products that make people’s lives easier and more enjoyable. Through this work, I realized that design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about improving real experiences and empowering users. I designed high-fidelity mockups for the brand’s MVP—visuals that were used to pitch the concept to potential investors and bring the product vision to life.
My primary focus areas were the E-Commerce interface and checkout flow, as well as the Customer Account Hub. I designed the account creation process, including inline upgrade prompts to encourage membership sign-ups in natural, value-driven moments. To guide new users, I created a setup wizard that presented onboarding tasks in a clear list format with defined “Next Step” actions—making it easy to get started and stay engaged.
Additional key features included an appointment scheduler that allowed clients to book directly with their care team, a “Find a Professional” map to help users build personalized wellness networks, and a nutrition tracker and macro calculator to support daily health goals.
This project shaped my approach to problem-solving and empathy-driven design. In the case study, I revisit these concepts through the lens of my current experience—refining the work with a greater focus on accessibility, scalability, and strategic UX thinking.
